Clear water over a quartz sand floor
Patented Sorgiva® technology

Water that rises from the floor.

Pulse Lagoon lagoons have no inlet jets: filtered water rises evenly across the whole surface of the pool, like a natural spring.

How it works

A patent born from water

In traditional pools, water enters through visible inlet jets in the walls. With the patented Sorgiva system, filtered water is fed in beneath the coating and rises across the whole floor. Hence the name: Sorgiva, Italian for "spring water".

  • Filtered water enters beneath the finish, through pipes hidden in the structure.
  • It fills the gaps between the quartz in the lower layer and keeps it sanitised, helping to prevent algae.
  • It passes through the quartz finish and rises evenly throughout the pool.

How it's built

Six layers, one system

  1. Micro-perforated polypropylene sheet, as a sliding layer and to protect the water inlet pipes.
  2. Recirculation system built into the structure.
  3. EPDM liner for waterproofing.
  4. Base of medium-sized natural stone or quartz, bound with epoxy resins.
  5. Fibreglass mesh supporting the surface finish.
  6. Quartz sand and marble finish, in the colour you choose.
From design to build

Every lagoon is made to measure

Beaches, areas of different depths, air therapy and waterfalls: every project is designed around the available space.

Designed with safety in mind

No inlet jets, with anti-entrapment floor outlets

In Pulse Lagoon, water rises from the floor with no inlet jets. The floor outlets are anti-entrapment, with no visible grilles, and the system is installed to code, with a certificate of conformity for the plant room. Find out what the new law on public-use pools requires.
